Take the Challenge

Welcome….

Someone thought enough of you to gift you a challenge coin.  Unlike other such coins this one really does come with a challenge.  And, while the challenge is completely free, it will be the most rewarding adventure you have ever been upon.

You’ve already discover the QR code on the back of the coin – the assumption is that first clue that led you here.  This coin was created and provided by a group of folks that make up a church…not to get your to attend or do something for them, but do something for yourself.

On the front of the coin there are several images that, should you accept the Challenge, will lead to some key discoveries that will be revealed to you over several weeks.

History continues to invade our lives.  We can be intrigued by it, share it, or even learn from it.

Mt. Gilead is a historically and biblically significant region east of the Jordan River, associated with various events, people, and strategic locations within the biblical narrative [More Information - CLICK HERE].  This geographical setting will be the basis for some unique discoveries over the next several weeks.  You may return to this site to explore what might be learned from those who have actually traversed Mt. Gilead. 

The first CHALLENGE is a “life mission challenge” that will give focus to why a simple mountain range can be so insightful.  Here is the Challenge [the over arching challenge]:

Live life with a due sense of responsibility – not as those who do not know the meaning and purpose of life, but as they who do.  Make the best use of your time, despite the difficulties of these days.

As you pause and ponder the words of this challenge – may the depth of the words may become solely yours.  Your Life – Your Responsibilities, Real Meaning To You,  Real Purpose … you get the idea.

You will see an outline on this page of 11 Challenges. None of them are easy and your are encourage to deal with each one fully before going onto the next. Each challenge will feature some historical information about the map you have before you.

May this journey be worthy of your personal investment. If you take this seriously your family and friends will begin to see significant changes in your life - that will be welcomed.
