Challenge 3

Choice is such a small word. The choices we make have an impact on our lives to the degree in which they shape who we are. Sometimes, we make choices without giving any thought; they seem to be automatic, and we just do it. A human being makes over 30,000 choices each day (go ahead, look it up). Are the choices you make each day creating chains or restricting you? There is a distinction between the two; when we make choices, we are essentially checking boxes. These boxes keep us bound without growth or they restrict us to that moment perhaps to think more deeply. Your challenge is to be intentional with your choice and proactive in your thoughts.
This challenge will help fine-tune your goal with a sense of focus. Whether you are a seeker looking for a restart, you may be someone striving for more, your life may be good, but you are wanting to level up. If you are suffering and need to find solace or trying to strengthen your relationship with God, a change is coming. This challenge will help you Come Awake.
The ultimate Question is: “Do the choices you make create honor in your life? Do they honor your spouse? Do they honor your family? Most importantly, do they honor God?”
Second thought mentality is a technique that will help you check the right boxes. When you make a decision, step back, take a break and re-evaluate your choice. Where does that choice land on a 5-point scale?
[5-very positive, 4-positive, 3-nuetral, 2-negitive, 1-very negative]
If it checks the boxes that create positive growth or positive impact on the people around you, proceed with your action. If it checks any box that may end with a negative consequence, use this time to make a better choice. Over time making the best decision in your life will come more easily. Watch as your life becomes more vibrant and filled with meaningful experiences; you will be Awake. You will know God’s love for you. Trust that He is with you.
The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” -Zephania 3:17 (NKJV).
